DIY Sewing

When I first got into sewing, I had no clue what I was doing. I really couldn't go to a JoAnn's fabric to take some of their lessons, so I did some research on the internet to get my instructions. I stumbled upon this awesome site! She has a blog of her own and she also posts videos on youtube. Just look for her name that is on her blog. She does A LOT of DIY projects and shirt reconstructions, including a skirt made from two oversized shirts to sewing your own hat.
